Crazy question, I know; but if you've got a bag or two laying around, you can do this ....................
............. "this" meaning filling up a pot of your choosing with the dry beans and then filling that pot with your pens and pencils :) Now isn't that a cool idea!!!!! I only wish I had been the one to think of it, but those honors go to one of my LQS's (Local Quilt Shop).
I don't know about y'all, but I was getting tired of always looking for a pen or a pencil or a pair of regular scissors!!! This definitely is an easy solution to that little stress maker. Now if you've got a honey like my friend Jan out in OK has, you're apt to have a 25 pound bag of beans sitting around ... if that's the case, you can make 'em for everyone you know and all the folks you cross along the way :)
Ohhhhhh and the fabric underneath is "another" little something that I started the other day. Uhmmmmmmm, how many projects underway does that make now??? I'm pleading the 5th on that one!
Happy day wishes to you all :)
"My son, if you accept My words and store up My commands within you, turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding, and if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the LORD and find the knowledge of God." Ah JAN, I recognize some of your fabric as what we both purchased in Gatlinburg last year. Such fond memories!
ReplyDeleteIt is such a HIGH to start a new project. I get sick of it about half way through.
